# 3.4 - Vehicle Procedures

## General Conduct

<Warning>
  You are not a police officer. Your lights and sirens should **never** be used to rush somewhere. The **only** exception is during an active prison transport.
</Warning>

Any traffic violations reported to Command by a police officer will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination depending on the severity.

You may not patrol around the city or county in your vehicle. Department vehicles may only be used for:

* Prison transports (primary use)
* Essential trips to the tech store (smartwatch)
* Essential trips to the grocery store (food)
* Other essential department errands

## Authorised Vehicles

    Available to all Corrections Cadets and above for prison transports. Purchase at the prison.

    **Required modifications (Mod Shop):**

    * Change the body color to Steel Grey or Black.

    **Vehicle capacity:**

    * 2 front seats for Corrections Officers
    * 6 seats in the rear
    * 1 secure cell

    Available to Senior Corrections Officers and above. Purchase from most police stations for **\$7,000**.

    **Required modifications (Custom Shop):**

    * Add the DOC livery.
    * Change the body color to Steel Grey or Black.
    * Ensure all extras with internal lights are added.
    * Remove all roof extras.
    * Ram bar is at the officer's discretion.

    <Note>
      You do not need to purchase any performance upgrades (including armor). They are installed by default, even if they don't visibly show.
