# 2.1 - Commands

Here is a list of all the /commands you can use as a Department of Corrections Officer as well as a simple description of the function of the command. Anyone found abusing commands will be disciplined.

* `/impound` - You make the nearest vehicle disappear for the cost of \$200
* `/dispatch` - Used to send Messages over dispatch that PD and DOC can both see. Always send a dispatch when DOC is on duty or when you are 10-7, 10-8 or when off duty to keep them informed
* `/search` - Lets you perform a Search on the nearest person
* `/softcuff` & `/sc` - Allows you to place the inmate in soft cuffs. They are still able to walk and run, however not throw punches, etc
* `/hardcuff` & `/hc` - Allows you to place the inmate in hard cuffs. This means that the inmate can not do anything
* `/uncuff` & `/uc` - You remove the cuffs from a cuffed individual
* `/escort` - Lets you escort a hard-cuffed inmate
* `/suspect [in,out] [Seat ID]` & `/Sus [in,out] [Seat ID]` - Lets you move a hard-cuffed inmate in or out of a vehicle to specific seats
* `/jail [server id] [amount]` - Used to sentence someone to jail for the amount of months (months=minutes) that you listed. This would be regarding what they were charged with and what PD said their time would be after processing their charges. This should ONLY be used after you've completed a transport to the prison and you're booking them into jail
* `/check_jail [server id]` - Allows you to check the remaining time an inmate has left on their sentencing
* `/modify_jail [server id] [add/sub] [time]` - Allows you to modify the remaining time an inmate has left of their sentence. This is limited to +/-5 months
* `/fine [server id] [amount]` - You should NOT be fining people typically. Let PD handle the fines and make sure they are fined before you transport the inmate. The ONLY time you will be allowed to fine someone is if a judge permits you to fine and process someone after a bench trial/court case
* `/repair` - Lets you repair your vehicle if you are at a government property. Our repair spot is where you pull out the bus/van
* `/unit_id` - Change the callsign attached to your tracker. Make sure to do so every time your callsign changes
* `/carry` - Lets you carry a person around
* `/tracker` - Turns your tracker on or off (your tracker should never be off). Add 'yes' to send an alert to DOC/PD when your tracker is broken. Only use this when necessary.
* `/training` - Toggles your training status on your tracker
* `/freq [1-10]` - Changes your radio to the frequency that you input
* `/radio_Volume` - Allows officers to increase or decrease radio volume.
* `/drive_mode [N/S/T]` - Changes the way the vehicles handle, only applies to certain cars.
